I hope that everyone is safe and well!  Every change is an opportunity to learn something new!  

I am happy and excited to announce that we have transferred all our music lessons online via Skype.

Dedicated Online Lessons webpage at greatlakesschoolofmusic.com will be ready soon and I will let you know when it's live!  Until then, you can still call us to schedule or book online lessons by visiting our Appointments page.

I hope that you will be inspired with photos of students and teachers enjoying their music!  

We are all aware that during this time of isolation that everything is different, but I'm so happy that we are all now able to enjoy music in a safe environment.  This is a big change, both for you and us, but also from the experience that I've heard, lessons are very enjoyable! It's great to be able to come into your homes with lessons now!

1. Create your Skype account by going to Skype.com
2. Send us your Skype ID via text to 440-833-0206
3. GLSM will confirm receipt of your Skype ID and connect with you directly via Skype
4. Future communication will be run via Skype chat
5. Schedule your Skype lesson by calling us or visiting our Appointments page on website

💻 Be ready with your laptop, i-pad or tablet;  phones are not recommended 
🔇 Be in a silent room ready with your instrument together with a table for your laptop (must be stationary)❗ It is advisable to not place your laptop too close to the instrument since this may cause distortion
📝 Have your assignment sheet and pencil ready
🕐 Please be ready 5 minutes prior to the lesson start time
📲 At scheduled time, your teacher will give you a Skype video call
