Barre-Tique is a core-infused fitness class that uses a ballet barre and couples the elements of dance, yoga, pilates, and stretch. It is not a dance class, but rather couples choreographed movements that are designed to burn cellulite and give a long lean dancers body with out bulk.
Barre-Tique methods target your inner thighs, waste line, and derriere with techniques that you cannot otherwise achieve with traditional local gym workouts. Barre-tique incorporates squat like movements in a grand plié` position with raised heels that will make you feel the burn in minutes.
Barre-tique uses isometric strength training method, using your own body weight as resistance, and stretching between segments. Occasionally, light weighted balls, flex bands, and stability balls are added to the routine for added resistance.
