Dear parents,
I'm pleased to announce that Birmingham School of Music has been approached by the Tommy & Sue Abraham Foundation to provide a three-month scholarship to one of our students. The Tommy & Sue Abraham Foundation was established in 2013 to honor the memory of the Abraham's and their love of music. The foundation provides scholarships for promising, young musicians to assist in their continued music education. This scholarship is open to any current BSM student and will cover tuition for three consecutive months, starting in July. All students interested in applying for the scholarship must write a letter, explaining why music and music lessons are important to them. The Foundation will choose one winner from the submitted letters. So here's how to apply for the scholarship. 1. Write a letter explaining why music and music lessons are important to you. 2. Submit the letter to Birmingham School of Music no later than June 1, 2018. 3. Winner will be announced June 5th. 4. Winner must be available to accept the scholarship at a presentation ceremony on Saturday, June 9th. The scholarship will be submitted to Birmingham School of Music to cover three months of lessons. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Sincerely, Russ Maddox, Owner Birmingham School of Music
