I started my coaching career in 2003,
coaching strength and endurance
at a local Gold’s Gym in Oregon.
Having grown up playing sports
and then transitioning into
the Military I always felt my best when
I was active and coaching
became a passion of mine quickly.
In 2013 I did my first CrossFit workout
in Southern California with a group of Navy SEALS
and was hooked (and humbled).
I wound up at CrossFit Southie in Boston
after moving there for work
and attacked everything I wasn’t good at,
including Olympic Lifting.
In 2015 I got my L1 and shortly after
I opened my first affiliate
where I did all the programming,
including a barbell class twice a week.
I love learning so I continued
on to get my L2, USAW L1,
ISSA Personal Trainer Cert
and Nutrition Coach cert
(and am currently working on renewing
those as well as adding more).
Since then I have coached over
1000 hours and loved every minute of it.
After selling my ownership in my affiliate
I continued to coach CrossFit and Olympic Lifting
at a friends affiliate in Oswego just to be able to
continue to help people realize their goals
which is the most rewarding part of coaching to me.
While I don’t coach CrossFit as often anymore
I still coach Olympic Weightlifting
and have athletes that compete regularly.
I am super excited and honored to
help bring a new barbell class to CrossFit Warehouse
and the amazing people I’ve met since coming there.
