Hey Team, The health and safety of our members is very important to us. With recent events relating to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to share the steps we are taking as a studio to maintain a safe and healthy exercise space, as well as some healthy habits we can all use. As a studio we are going above and beyond our normal cleaning/sanitizing schedule to ensure that our studio is as clean as possible. We are doing two deep cleans a day, as well as paying extra attention to sanitizing equipment before, during, and after class. We have put out extra sanitizer bottles and are changing the cleaning towels more frequently. Please expect some small delays in between classes to accommodate extra cleaning time. The mall staff here at Empress Walk have also done a great job in stepping up their cleaning schedule in response to the virus. We are a community, and we ask that you help us in keeping F45 North York clean. It takes all of our efforts to ensure that we have a safe space to exercise. Your first line of defence is to choose a healthy lifestyle. Following general good-health guidelines is the single best step you can take toward naturally keeping your immune system strong and healthy. Here are some healthy habits you can follow; - EXERCISE REGULARLY - Eat a healthy and balanced diet (see F45 Challenge Meal Plan for guidance) - Get adequate sleep (6-8hrs) - REDUCE STRESS - Stay home when you're sick - Wash your hands before and after class - Use the disinfectant spray and towels to wipe down all equipment between sets - Use a towel during class While these basic health/hygiene practices are important to follow all the time, they're especially helpful now so we can keep the gym cleaner and healthier for everyone.
