Hey Team! As our studio continues to grow we are starting to observe issues with members being able to book in and/or huge waitlists starting to develop for particular classes. Many members have asked for clarity about exactly how the waitlists work & scheduling classes. With this in mind we have the following requests and reminders with regards to booking in order to allow everyone a fair chance to schedule & train. 1. Late Cancelation/No Show Policy Our cancelation policy is 10 hours before morning/weekend classes and 2 hours before lunch/evening classes. If you can't make your class please cancel early to allow your fellow members a chance to book in. Our late cancelation/no show fee is $15. 2. Book Only Your Preferred Class Time Many people are booking multiple classes e.g.) 5:15pm, 6:15pm & 7:15pm everyday of the week or all 4 Saturday Hollywood classes, and then deciding the night before which class time they are going to attend. This means you are holding multiple class spots (sometimes over a week in advance) and creating huge "fake" waitlists. If this continues to happen your earliest class time will be kept and all others offered to someone who is yet to have a spot. 3. Waitlist Only for the Class You Really Want When you put yourself on multiple waitlists we have no real idea what class time your preference is. It may not be ideal but you will generally get into the class you want. 4. Booked Classes & Waitlists If you are already booked into a class please do not put yourself on the waitlist for other time slots - e.g.) booked 9.05am Hollywood but on the waitlist for 8am, 10:10am and 11:15am Hollywood. Priority will be given to those members who are yet to be in any class time slot and you may be removed from multiple waitlists. Moreover, some people end up booked into two or more classes on the one day, and charges apply to all booked spots. 5. Overnight Waitlists Treat the waitlist like a line in the bank. If you join the line you have the intention of getting to the front and being served by the bank teller. It works the same with classes... if you are in the waitlist line it shows us your intention is to get into the class. Being added overnight from the waitlist to the class is not a valid excuse for late cancelling/no showing. By going to sleep with yourself still on the waitlist you are still in the line - so set your alarm and plan on coming to the class! Just like the bank analogy if you don't want to train anymore take yourself off the waitlist i.e. get out of the line. 6. Showing Up Without Booking In If you show up to a class that you are not booked in for or that you are on the waiting list for, do so with the expectation that we may not be able to accommodate you. If there is a no show we can fit you in, but if the class is at capacity you will not be able to workout. It is a safety concern to have classes at more than capacity. We really appreciate your cooperation with this. We are just trying to give our members the best experience possible. If you have any questions please do not hesistate to contact us or chat with us in studio. |
