Hi ,
If you are like me you have been glued to your TV or phone checking frantically to see what's been going on with the spread of COVID-19 (aka coronavirus). And like you I've taken the necessary precautions to make sure my family is safe. That includes You...my Fit Family. At Harlem Cycle, we've implemented a few changes to our classes to make sure you and our team remain safe. What we are doing: - Significantly increased deep cleans at our studios
- Adding more cleaning and sanitizing materials for you to be able to clean your mats and bikes.
- Disinfecting all surfaces including door handles, studio weights, bikes, and benches, etc daily with hospital-grade antibacterial solutions
- Being flexible with our team to make sure they feel comfortable calling out from work if they are not feeling well.
What we're asking of you: - To thoroughly wipe down your bikes including adjustment knobs, handlesbars, seats and resitance knob. We are still going to come behind you and rewipe but we have to keep our team healthy as well.
- If you are not feeling well, please make sure to stay home.
- If you drop your towel during class I've asked our instructor team to just get you a new one.
- Minimize person-to-person contact. Let’s swap high fives and handshakes for moments of self gratitude for the time being.
- In addition to wiping down all mats before and after use, we are also spraying them down. Disenfectant spray bottles are in the fireplace for use.
And remember to practice healthy habits not only at the studio but as you carry on with your day. - As the CDC recommends, please wash your hands vigorously with soap and water, especially after coughing or blowing your nose.
- Cough into a tissue or your shirt. If you’re sporting a crop top, cough into the crease of your elbow.
- Avoid touching your nose, mouth, and eyes.
We will get through this tough time TOGETHER.
Stay well and see you on the bike! Tammeca
