When we opened in February we were primarily a Small Group Training Gym, but with the business closures in March and the occupancy restrictions placed on all gyms, we’ve been forced to change our business model. We’re now predominantly a Personal Training Gym that offers 2 very distinct services. There is the obvious one on one training, and then there is the more novel Supervised Training model. All of our “Open Lifters” are using this service now. What’s the difference between Supervised Training and just going to the gym? Great question! In Supervised Training you’re assigned a program, and when exercising in our gym you’re always getting coaching or help. Here, everyone always has a coach. We love that, and we love being able to help all of you to excel and reach your goals. Changes we have made and will make
For one, we’re looking to expand our hours of operation. Look for an email sometime next month with details on what the new hours and policy are.
Secondly, we have changed our appointment policy. You will have to book your appointments for 1:1 Coaching or Monkey Rite of Passage sessions on the MindBody App no later than 6 hours in advance. If you’re within that window and still want to book, you’ll have to contact us to do so. Supervised Open Training has also been changed to no later than 1 hour prior to when you plan to come in and lift. This change will allow us to properly prepare for your arrival and make sure our equipment is thoroughly cleaned between sessions.
