What's the News?!
It’s official! We have added 8AM-10AM to our hours on Monday through Friday (M-Th 8AM-9PM, Friday 8AM-4PM, Saturday 10AM-2PM). We’re considering further expansion of our hours depending on the need. If you want to train at 7AM we can do that too, but you need to schedule it 12 hours in advance or Jesse will NOT be there. The StrongFirst Tactical Strength Challenge (TSC) is scheduled for May 8th, and yes we’re hosting it. This is a super fun community challenge to test your ability in the company of your comrades. There are 3 events: Deadlift (3 attempts for max weight), Pullups/Flexed arm hang (for reps or time), and kettlebell snatches (for reps in 5 minutes). This event takes place on the same day in 22 countries around the world! How awesome to know that in a 24 hour period so many people will be doing some Strong stuff on the same day. Look for posts and emails with a registration link, and I can’t wait to see you guys hit some PRs!
We have officially launched our Beginner Olympic Weightlifting Program! This program is 8 weeks long, includes 12 personal training sessions, and teaches you the barbell Snatch, Clean and Jerk. By the end of this program you will be able to train with safety and competence the Olympic lifts, and earn your Novice Weightlifter Pin! Call us or see front desk for more information.
