Vinyasa Yoga, Vinyasa Flow or just Flow, is a series of smoothly flowing and almost dance-like poses, or asana, that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling to increase energy flow throughout our bodies and reduce the chatter of the mind.
Practicing vinyasa yoga has both physical and mental benefits. It is a vigorous and revitalizing form of exercise devised to increase breath control, flexibility, strength, balance, focus, coordination and mental clarity.
Additionally, vinyasa yoga helps support techniques that are constantly used in martial arts, including:
-Developing and improving flexibility.
-Enhancing concentration and balance.
-Increasing endurance, stamina, and mental toughness
-Releasing toxins and re-energizing the body to reduce recovery time.
-Gaining core strength, as well as overall body strength essential to strong punches and kicks

Brittany first started practicing yoga and meditation in 2007. She received her RYT200 in August 2016 and currently teaches at Real Hot Yoga, Englewood as well as MetaFit Complete, Bloomfield. Brittany’s fun, atmospheric playlists set the tone for a powerful and nurturing vinyasa flow with creative, strategic sequencing to progress towards your fullest potential. Yoga for Fitness:
As part of your package as a monthly member, you will have an opportunity to meet with our Registered Dietitian twice a month, who will work with you one-on-one through the weight-loss part of your journey, providing support each step of the way as you approach your healthy weight. This will include:
Body Composition Analysis
3-day food diary – analysis
Weekly results review
Individually created meal plan
Cooking recipes if requested
