This week we moved back to Zoom as our County closed non-essential indoor offices. For most of our students, this distance learning is working very well, but we want to ensure we have to best options we can for all our music makers. Therefore if you prefer to meet in person, we have gotten autorization to meet OUTDOORS (sorry for the terrible picture, but you may be able to see how our tent classrooms are arranged in the shade of the back parking lot). We are meeting in the MORNINGS to beat the heat and currently have three stations or tents set up so they don't interfere with one another. We don't know how long these restrictions will be in place, right now I am planning on the next two weeks (the remainder of July) and we will make announcements later if we will continue this into August as well. To choose this option, just enter your name in an available slot on the spread sheet. There are three teachers each day and each teacher has five available times. We realize this doesn't accomodate every needs, and we will try to accomodate as many special requests as wel can, but we are somewhat limited at this time. We will not remove your existing afternoon lesson time, so if we are able to resume indoor lessons in August you can return to your currently scheduled time. (But who knows...with distance learning now announced in August we may open up more morning slots then we previously had....time will tell) The link to sign up is here--please enter the students first and last name so we can confirm with you. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YvTUsq3N8bQAlRecFaPCgxz9l1tgOq_KeSZ-yQ49OH4/edit?usp=sharing As always, reach me any time at [email protected] about how we can help your family continue to make music, which I feel is so important in this time. Thank you for being on this journey with us-- Mr. Michael |
