This soul pumping class offers up the perfect blend of tribal-inspired h.I.I.t. (high intensity interval training) cardio bursts woven seamlessly into a creative, fast paced Vinyasa flow. Class focuses on total body alignment, Chakra awakening, strength building and increased flexibility. Class is practiced in an 80-85 degree environment to stimulate blood circulation and target fat burn. Caloric burn ranging from 500-700 calories per class. All levels are welcome. Music for class ranges between a blend of West African tribal beats/drums, Electronic/Dance, Hip-Hop.

SMART Yoga ™️ (self myofascial adhesion release therapy) works by returning your muscles and soft tissue to their natural form. It combines the following sciences and modality techniques: self myofascial release, adhesion release therapy & yin yoga/static stretching. By combining the three techniques that target specific trigger points or “hot spots” in the body, you can improve circulation, encourage tissue length, increase elasticity, and tissue hydration. This results in improved tissue tolerance, flexibility and facial freedom (increased ROM). SMART Yoga ™️ aids in increasing mobility, improving stability and strength, decreasing accumulated tension and stress as well as cultivates and inspires the mind body connection. Classes offer creative static stretch sequencing complementing the use of massage balls, foam rollers, and straps. SMART Yoga ™️ explores multiple areas of the body to help break down adhesions/scar tissue that stem from lack of use, over use, postural issues, and other lifestyle influences that affect freedom of movement.

In order to better accomodate your needs, our 6:00pm Non-Hot class offerings in Montville on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays have been moved to 6:15pm.

Nirvana Teacher Training is a Yoga Alliance Certified 200 hour teacher training program that offers training with some of New Jersey's most experienced teachers. This program is for those wanting to learn how to teach, or for teachers wanting to learn different modalities and styles of yoga.

The teacher training will hold bi-weekly classes from January-May. In addition to attending classes, trainees must complete at home study, written assignments, class observations and adjustments, student teaching, and a final exam.

After 6 weeks of holiday stress, come disconnect with the world and reconnect to your body. This class is great for everyone, and works with helps the mind and body move toward releasing and healing. We will begin with an hour-long Y12SR class, but you do not need to be in a 12 step program or recovery to enjoy and benefit from this class.

After winding down through savasana, you will indulge in a breathwork circle, allowing you to release anything you may have discovered while in your yoga practice that night. This is going to be a beautiful class that facilitates the process of letting go and finding ways to love yourself a bit more deeply. Open to ALL who wish to attend (you do not have to be in 12SR to attend).

This is a donation based event. All of the funds raised will go to support the Y12SR Foundation & The Urban Outreach Program.

Experience a beautiful discussion on the full moon and why it effects the way that we feel. Brooklyn-based astrologer, Jennifer Kissling, is coming out to New Jersey to bring us this very special presentation.

Following the discussion, we will lay down to experience breathwork, harnessing the power of the full moon to help us manifest our desires and release old messages. Breathwork facilitated by breathwork healer, Tiffany Curren.

Nirvana is proud to be partnering with Lauren Muriello, founder of the Well Being Therapy Center, to offer a safe space for the therapy center's Intensive Group Therapy Program for Teens, called Circle Up!

The wonderful Well Being Therapy Center staff, as well as other talented specialists (including the dogs!), will join us regularly to lead activities and inspire our teens.

Circle Up will include interactive experiences and experiential therapies designed to be effective at boosting mood and increasing self-esteem, while creating a fun experience that keeps teens motivated to participate.

Teens who enroll are welcome to come one, two, or three times per week - all are encouraged to come at least two times per week for maximum benefit.
