New to Aerial Yoga? Join is for a 4 week beginner series with Andrea Powers. Aerial Yoga takes your traditional yoga practice off the ground and into a hammock that is made from a soft fabric strong enough to support your body weight (and then some). The hammock is a wonderful tool to teach students how to align their bodies within a variety of yoga postures as well as experiencing inversions without any compression on the spine. Students will learn basic aerial poses all while developing upper body strength, control, flexibility, core strength and grace. The Aerial hammock will support you as you stretch, decompress your spine, and enjoy simple conditioning exercises. No previous experience necessary. Space is limited to 12 students. |
