Sound healing with singing bowls is a vibrational healing energy that helps to move the energy in the body into alignment while promoting deep relaxation and healing. The combination of these two healing modalities will allow you to get closer to your true voice and identity.

Please remember to park next door at 118 Main Road while our parking lot is under construction. Enter the driveway where it says "Yoga Parking" and head towards the back to the parking lot. There's an opening that connects to our address, it's just a short walk to the reception door! We ask that you please do not park in the front lot, as it is reserved for the other businesses in the building. Y12SR is yoga for anxiety, depression, and addiction. In a word, the characteristics and effects of addiction, anxiety, and depression could easily be described as separation. Addictive behaviors and depression separate and disconnect us from ourselves, our loved ones, our environment and so much more. Yoga itself means union, balance, and integration. When you combine the 12-step program and yoga, you provide tools to address the physical, mental, and spiritual aspect of the diseases.

Saturday, June 8th at 1:30pm in Wayne

Join us for a workshop with Roberto Reynoso and Aleksandra Mufceska, focusing on techniques that will help you reset and re-energize your systems. This 2 hour workshop will feature meditations and breathwork that will reset and energize your being. Breathwork will be followed by an invigorating 7 chakra inspired vinyasa sequence. After the sequence we will offer thai yoga bodywork assists.

Friday, June 21st at 7:30pm in Wayne

We will begin this workshop with a yin yoga practice with Thai bodywork adjustments guided by Elissa Lappostato. Mostly done on the floor, the practice targets our deepest tissues of the body; our connective tissues, ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body, rather than the muscles. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes with the goal being to safely and therapeutically stretch, stimulate and strengthen these deeper tissues. On an energetic level the practice allows chi/prana to move more fluidly through our meridians. After, experience the beautiful practice of (emotional release) breathwork in the company of likeminded souls, facilitated by Tiffany Curren.

In breathwork, we release the energy from our traumas, disappointment, hurt, bad experiences, and the walls that we've built up from the unhealthy messages we've been given. We can free our bodies from being dragged down by the false messages that no longer serve us. Now is the time to let it all go, release other people's expectations and interpretations of us, and start living our lives wholly and authentically.

The theme of Nirvana Yoga & Wellness' 200 hour training is based on three core beliefs.

1. Create your energy. You must find your confidence and authentic voice.

2. Fuel your fire. You must get in touch with what inspires you and moves you emotionally and physically.

3. Awaken your soul. Once the first two areas are met, you will re-awaken with a sense of who you are, what you are capable of and a sense of confidence you can apply to all aspects of your life.

Nirvana Yoga & Wellness follows all requirements from Yoga Alliance with influences adapted from Vinyasa, Anusara and Ashtanga techniques.
