When you crave something sweet, reach for a fruit first. Many of us have conditioned ourselves to finish a meal with a sugary dessert. Cookies, cakes, pies... what used to be considered a special occasion treat may have turned into a daily habit. Studies show that processed sugar is probably the worst thing you can eat. It’s full of empty calories, contributes to obesity, diabetes, and has even been linked to some cancers. To satisfy your desire for sweetness, try a big bowl of natures candy, fruits like berries, fresh pineapple, mago, etc. That's how you’re going to win! See you tomorrow!​ |
