Aikido is a non-competitive martial art. Students are encouraged to observe themselves, their partners and their practice space. This practice leads to awareness and sensitivity, as well as development of grace, skill, and endurance.
Beginner and Mixed Levels Aikido Classes
Aikido body art classes are open to adults of levels, men, and women. Beginners’ classes are geared towards students with no experience in Aikido, though intermediate and advanced students are encouraged to participate. The practice is a partners practice, as each practitioner studies the techniques from two main facets: both applying the technique (Tori/Nage practice) and receiving the technique (Ukemi practice). We also offer private and semi-private sessions.
Weapons
Weapons classes are offered to those who want to deepen their understanding of Aikido and are open to current members only, with permission of the Chief Instructor.
Youth Program
Our Kids classes are for children 4-12. Classes are dynamic and enjoyable, based on martial arts disciplines both physical and mental. Young people learn non-aggressive techniques, conflict resolution, and selected Japanese traditions. Participants will have the opportunity to improve concentration, balance, and awareness, and practice the values of respect, consideration, and sensitivity through partner practice.
We offer a full range of Yoga training levels: from gentle Yoga Nidra & Guided Imagery, and restorative through Basics class, and mixed level classes:

Yoga Zen Integrated Healing is designed to help with stress and pain, through the use of gentle movement, Reiki, and essential oils.

Mixed level classes are open to all levels of practitioners, beginners as well as more experienced yogis.
Alignment class is going into detail into creating a more precise and correct poses and movements.
We offer classes for children 3-13, teens and adults. We also offer private sessions.
Iaido is the art of sword drawing, and was practiced as the way of the samurai during many decades in feudal Japan. This martial art is practiced individually. We practice the Muso Shinden-ryu Iaido.
Tai chi and qigong are two mind-body practices that originated in ancient China. Practiced widely in China for thousands of years, both have become popular in the West. People of almost any age or condition can participate in them. Many people who practice tai chi and qigong report heightened feelings of well-being along with a variety of other health benefits.
Although tai chi is slow and gentle and doesn't leave you breathless, it addresses the key components of fitness — muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and, to a lesser degree, aerobic conditioning.
Peaceful Mind Way Kung Fu comes from a long, traditional martial arts history originating from the Chinese temples of Shaolin and Wutang. Over the centuries our style has come to embrace the greatest teachings of masters from China, Korea, Okinawa and Japan. What follows is a brief and recent history from which our Kung Fu draws its strength.
Peaceful Mind Way represents our school’s core philosophy and mindset towards training and how we use our skill. We seek “clarity through the chaos” whether in a fight or in our everyday lives. The Peaceful Mind Way Kung Fu style is comprehensive, combining the techniques, forms and mind/body training from its distinguished predecessors.
Jack Morrisette has been training in Martial arts for most of his life. In The United States Navy, Jack discovered Tai Chi, Qigong, and Kung Fu. He studied under Grand Master Don Baird's guidance who's martial lineage can be traced to Manchuria China. Jack has more than a decade of Tai chi and Qigong experience with a focus on Yang style Tai Chi.
