Everything is great except for the fact that if there's a group of 3 in the class I am always in it. I signed up for the unlimited classes so that I could progress faster. This week alone 3 out of the 4 classes I attended I was in the group of three. I talked to my teachers about it 3 weeks ago, but it still keeps happening to me. I've noticed that the girls get way more affected by being put in groups of three than the boys. As the junior I watch the seniors work out the exercises, and if I'm lucky I get to try things once. How am I supposed to progress if i'm not practicing? The girls that I get three'd with are great, but none of us are getting the full experience like the boys are. I generally attend 5 JKD and one weapons class per week. I show up, and I want to participate 100%. I just feel so frustrated and depressed that I am always in the group of three if there is one. All the girls I've talked to, including myself, want to be paired with boys sometimes.

I Been to other so called martial arts schools and nothing compares to NYMAA. The other cardio kickboxing school just want you money. At NYMAA i can honestly say they dont even want your money. They have some serious instructors that are truly pasionate about the art and teach because they want you to be better. Im gonna be a student here for a very good amount of time. About Us
NY Martial Arts Academy was the first school in the tri-state area to be recognized by the Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Nucleus (an organization established to preserve and perpetuate the art that Bruce Lee developed).
This organization consisted of Bruce Lee's wife, daughter, first generation, and second generation students. This organization and our school have a common purpose to promote the art, science, and philosophy of the founder of JKD (Bruce Lee). We are one of the only schools on the East Coast to teach Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do.
This is also an academy that will teach you the different aspects of Jeet Kune Do (mind, body, and spirit). You will also develop friendships and a common respect for your fellow martial artists.
