With summer just around the corner, we are excited to announce our lineup of summer programs!

 

Our summer programs are designed for students of all ages and skill levels, and offer a range of opportunities to explore and develop your musical talents. From individual lessons to group classes, we have something for everyone. Check our line-up of summer programs below and contact us to register.

 

Theater & Vocal Performance
(featuring "The Sound of Music")

Welcome to our exciting summer program where students can explore the world of vocal and theater performance through the beloved classic, "The Sound of Music!"

 

Our program is designed for students to explore their creative talents and develop their confidence and self-expression through singing and acting in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. They will also learn vocal technique, acting, stage presence, and participate in workshops and activities to enhance their skills.

 

At the end of the program, students will also have the opportunity to perform in a final showcase for family and friends.

 

Recommended Age Range: 7-12 years old

Camp Duration: Daily, M-F, 90 minutes each lesson

Creative Beats: Music & Arts Camp

Interested in music, arts, and creative expression? Then this summer program is for you!

 

During this program, students will have the opportunity to create their very own percussive musical instrument from scratch. Students will then be guided in learning and playing percussive song(s) using their own instrument.

 

At the end of the program, students will be able to craft a percussive musical instrument, learn and apply basic rhythm through a song, and also play on their own crafted musical instrument! Craft supplies will be provided.

 

Recommended Age Range: 6–8 years old

Camp Duration: Daily, M-F, 45 minutes each lesson.

Summer Keys: A Creative Group Piano Learning Experience

Discover the joy of playing the piano this summer with our group piano lessons! Our experienced teachers will guide you through the fundamentals of playing the piano in a fun and supportive group setting.

 

Our group lessons are designed to help students develop heir piano skills and musical knowledge in a supportive and encouraging environment. A performance opportunity is also available at the end of the lessons.

Join us for an unforgettable summer of music-making and piano-playing!

 

Recommended Age Range: 5–8 years old

Camp Duration: Daily, M-F, 45 minutes each lesson.

Individual Summer Lessons

Are you looking to develop your musical skills over the summer? Look no further than our individual music lessons! Our expert instructors are dedicated to helping you achieve your musical goals in a fun and supportive environment.

 

With four (4) individual music lessons, you will have the opportunity to receive personalized instruction tailored to your specific needs and interests. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced musician, our instructors will work with you to develop your skills and enhance your musical abilities. Choose from a variety of instruments including piano, violin, cello, and voice/vocal performance! Students who decide to continue lessons after the summer program will have their registration fee waived.

 

Recommended Age Range: 4 years old and up

Lesson Frequency: Weekly. 30 minutes each lesson

Join the 2023 Masterclasses
for Piano and Violin!

We are very excited for our upcoming masterclasses for piano and violin!

 

Everyone is welcome to observe the masterclass, online, through the Zoom links below.

 

David Witten’s international career has included numerous concert tours in Ireland, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Mexico, and China. As the recipient of a 1990 Fulbright Scholar award, he spent five months teaching and concertizing in Brazil, and he is frequently invited back to give concerts and masterclasses.


Witten’s solo piano recordings feature music of Manuel M. Ponce (Marco Polo Records), Nikolai Tcherepnin (Toccata Classics), and Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco (Albany Records).


His involvement in music has not been limited to performance. He is the editor of Nineteenth-Century Piano Music: Essays in Performance and Analysis (Garland Publishing, 1997), which includes his landmark analytical study of the Chopin Ballades.


Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Witten received his early training at the Peabody Conservatory and at the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem. He received a Master of Fine Arts in Piano at SUNY at Buffalo, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from Boston University.

 

His most influential teachers were Anthony di Bonaventura, Walter Hautzig, Tinka Knopf, Benjamin Oren, Reynaldo Reyes, Leo Smit, and Dorothy Taubman.

 

After twenty years as an active recitalist, chamber-music pianist and teacher in the Boston area, he accepted a position at Montclair State University, where he is currently Coordinator of Keyboard Studies.

 
Join the Piano Masterclass

Allen Lieb Is CEO of the International Suzuki Association, Chair of the ISA & Suzuki Association of the Americas Violin Committees & a registered SAA & European Suzuki Association Teacher-Trainer.

 

His primary instructors in Suzuki pedagogy were John Kendall and Shinichi Suzuki.

 

Allen is Head of the Violin Department & Instructor for Teacher-Training at the School for Strings & violin Instructor at the Diller-Quaile School, both in New York City, & a consultant for VH1SavetheMusic Foundation.
