What to Expect During Your Cryotherapy Session?

The Cryotherapy Experience

The entire experience in the Cryotherapy chamber will be less than 3 minutes, but you should expect to make time to fill out a simple medical waiver and change into appropriate gear in a private changing room for your session.

Our Cryotherapy chambers utilize sub-zero temperatures to deliver powerful cold therapy, so you’ll need to protect certain parts of your body. We'll provide you with a robe, hat, socks, slippers and gloves to use during your session.

Once you’ve changed into your protective gear, you’ll head back to our proprietary Cryotherapy chamber. Our trained expert will ask you questions and take your temperature. Next, you have the option to select some music to pump you up before entering the chamber where you’ll stay for up to 3 minutes.

If you’re concerned about making it through the full 2.5-3 minutes, don’t worry! A healthy cold therapy practice may be something you work your way up to, gradually increasing the time you’re able to spend in the chamber during each visit. In general, it will feel like standing outside on an extremely cold winter day!

After you get out, you’ll feel energized and alert, and you may even experience a bit of a mood boost.

The Red Light Therapy Experience

Red Light Therapy is a painless and relaxing service that takes 10 minutes. During your session, you’ll be in a private room with red light panels you’ll stand between. A trained expert will go over any questions you might have, turn on the Red Light Therapy machine and then leave to give you privacy. Clients usually remove their clothes to allow their skin to soak up the maximum amount of light during their session. 

During your session, you’ll feel a mild warmth coming from the lights. We recommend that clients do not look directly at the lights during their session. If your eyes are sensitive to light, you can choose to wear your own sunglasses or use the goggles we provide. Whether or not your eyes are not sensitive to the light, we encourage clients to close their eyes, relax and soak up the glow!

What is Infrared Sauna?

Sweat, detox and burn calories with gentle heat that efficiently raises your body temperature in 45 minutes or less.

The Infrared Sauna Experience

At Restore, you’ll have a private room where you can change and shower afterward. A trained expert will turn on the Infrared Sauna, select the time and temperature and show you how to connect your phone to the Bluetooth, so you can listen to music or a podcast while you sweat and relax for the next 30-45 minutes.

Sweating is a healthy process that may help the body detoxify from the many harmful free radicals and heavy metals that have negative long-term effects on human health. After your session is over, you’ll want to get changed into loose clothing that’s breathable and light, because you may continue sweating for some time after you leave your session.

After your appointment, you may feel relaxed and experience a boost in your mood. It is important to drink plenty of water before and after your session. Be sure to hydrate properly to minimize any potential minor side effects, such as skin flushing and light-headedness, to maximize the benefits.

What is Compression?

The Compression Experience

The entire experience in the Compression sleeves is 30-60 minutes. When you’re ready, a trained expert will escort you to our dedicated area where you can take a seat and relax. They will help fit you with the Compression sleeves for your desired area—legs, arms or hips. 

Once you’re set up with the Compression sleeves, you can listen to music, work on your laptop or read a book, depending on the area receiving treatment. During your session, the booties and sleeves will slowly fill with pressurized air and then expel the air continuously until your session is over. 

After your session, a trained expert will help you remove the sleeves. The muscles in your arms and legs should feel more relaxed, and you may even notice a reduction in stiffness and pain.
