Due to the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown and restrictions, many people are struggling to return to their previous workout routine. This pandemic has caused mental issues like stress, anxiety, and depression which can affect your physical health. Meanwhile, Yoga & Pilates research experts are advocating healing and alternative therapies as great options to tackle this pandemic situation. Many of them claim that Yoga & Pilates can play a powerful role in the fight against the novel coronavirus while improving the physical and mental well-being of individuals. Sometimes the biggest obstacle to working out is the inspiration just to get started. Often it’s not that we dislike exercise, but rather that we dislike the idea of getting going. Yet once we do, more often than not we really enjoy working out. Why? Because it makes us feel better and it boosts our mood. It’s a virtuous cycle—the better you feel, the more you want to keep going. Simply beginning your workout is one of the most important short-term goals. Once you start your exercise program again, other goals, such as improving balance, relieving back pain, reducing stress etc can be motivators. But you cannot begin to achieve those if you never get started. If you want to get happy, you have to get moving. Click below to register for the FREE June 7th & June 9th 9am classes.
