Did you read today's story in the Denton Record Chronicle? Soma Massage Therapy is proud to donate $2,500 to Explorium -- Denton's first and only Children's Museum!

Our donation will fund the completion of their "nursing room" -- though parents and caregivers are welcome to feed their children anywhere in the museum, sometimes we all need a quiet space to sit, relax, and focus our minds. Once Explorium opens (hopefully sometime in September), you'll be able to visit the nursing room and experience this peaceful space yourself, compliments of Soma Massage Therapy! (Because we love you, that's why.)

Kyle's Place is a Transitional Living Program for homeless youth working toward independence. Kyle's Place and Journey to Dream have been serving homeless youth since 2014 through outreach programs that offer support for meals, clothing, and transportation, as well as life skills training.

Kyle's Place is open to all, but their staff admits that they see a much higher number of LGBTQ teens, and -- as far as we know -- might be the only shelter of its kind in Denton County that accepts LGBTQ youth. We have a special place in our hearts for Kyle's Place for sure!

This shelter is in need of some back to school supplies, toiletries, and snacks. A complete list can be found here.  Please bring one or more items on this list to our main office and you'll be entered to win a free 1-hour massage. Even if you don't have an appointment here, you can still participate AND know that you're making a difference in the lives of some pretty vulnerable youth.
