It happened again: you're super stressed, pulled something in your neck, and need a massage ASAP. You check the website and -- GASP! -- nothing is available that fits your schedule this week! What should you do? We've got a few ideas to help you avoid this scenario next time: 1. Ask to be put on our waitlist! If you're desperate for a massage and can ONLY do it on a particular day/time, let us know! We often get one or two cancellations a day, and when you're on the waitlist, you'll get first dibs! 2. Plan ahead! Go ahead and book that next massage "just in case." Let's be honest: the knot in your low back is going to feel better after your massage, but it's probably going to need a few sessions before you really notice a lasting difference. Follow up sessions are always a good idea, with as hard as you are on your body! As the day of your appointment approaches, you can determine what would be best for your body/schedule. Odds are, you'll be glad you booked in advance. If you think it would be better to cancel or reschedule, though, just give us at least 24 hours advance notice to avoid the cancellation fee -- we'll take care of the rest! 3. Sign up for recurring sessions! If you have a favorite therapist or a time of day that will works best for your schedule, you can absolutely sign up for "every other Saturday with Cambie" or "every 3 weeks with Mike" (etc). NO CONTRACT or extra fees are required -- just let us know what works best for you, we'll help you get it set up, and if you need to cancel or change an appointment (because life happens and it's hard to predict the future sometimes), just alert us at least 24 hours in advance and we can get you changed at no cost. We have SEVERAL clients who take advantage of this arrangement and it works great for them AND for our therapists! |
