We've got a lot of exciting changes happening this month!

1. More therapists! -- Soma Massage Therapy is more popular than ever, so it's time to add another therapist here! Brittney Brimberry, LMT has recently joined our team and will work a very flexible schedule most days of the week. She specializes in Deep Tissue, Swedish, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, and Prenatal massage. Learn more about Brittney here!

2. More hours! -- Beginning August 13, we will be offering Monday appts at our SDCC location! Clint Althaus, LMT is the perfect fit for our satellite office (located inside the Spinal Decompression and Chiropractic Center, 2500 Lillian Miller) and we just know you're going to love him too! Here's my personal testimony:

"About 2 years ago, I developed a pain in my left hip that eventually got so bad it would keep me up at night and bother me all day. I went to go see Clint for a massage on one of my very worst days and he focused on my hips, low back, and legs. I got off his table and still felt sore and achy, but after a good night of sleep (one of the first nights I had been able to sleep in about a week!) I woke up and felt only the slightest tingling in my left toe! It was amazing!

When the pain eventually came back, I decided to take it to the next step, so I called Dr. Baugher at the Spinal Decompression and Chiropractic Center and asked to be examined. That's when it was discovered that I had a herniated and completely ruptured L5/S1 disc in my low back! No wonder I was in pain!

Through regular appointments at SDCC and with regular massage, I am now back at almost 100% -- and I did it without surgery. If Clint could relieve my pain when I was at my worst, and if Dr. Baugher could repair my disc without surgery, I truly believe that these two professionals together will bring a lot of healing and comfort to our clients."

4.  More babies! -- Brandy Jones, LMT is expecting a baby any day now! She is taking parental leave until mid-September. Let's all wish her well as she welcomes baby #3! If anyone would like to bring a gift for Brandy and her newborn son, she would appreciate diapers, wipes, and gift cards for Kroger, Target, etc. Bring them by the office and we'll be sure she gets her thoughtful gift from you!

5.  More Susan! -- After a month of rest and rehab, Susan (and her shoulder!) are back at it! Thanks to everyone who waited patiently for her, and we hope that you were able to find another massage therapist this past month who was also able to kick your butt!
