Can you believe we're already coming up on the holiday season?
This time of year can stir up a lot of emotions. Between menu planning, shopping, cooking, decorating, wrapping gifts and social gatherings, it's can become easy to feel overwhelmed, lose track of time and get stressed.
At the start of our yoga practices, I encourage everyone to check in with themselves and honor how you're feeling. Sometimes we want to have a strong practice, but as we start to move through our practice, we recognize we need a more gentle practice.
I encourage you to do the exact same thing during this time of year.
As the calendar starts to fill up with parties, activities and errands don't forget to check in with yourself and remember that it's ok to decline an invitation or even take some quiet time for yourself.
